As brick and RCC are two different material with different characteristics, there are high chances of water penetration from the junction. So along the roof edges and parapets, corners and pipe penetrations, a minimum 100 mm fillet should be provided. This will also ensure easy installation of the membrane and help to reduce the stress in the membrane as compared to bending it at 90° without the fillet.
Direct Solutions
We recommend laying of same fillet for throughout the roof & parapet wall joint.
