Gasket not used in between sink bottle trap & wall mounted pipe junction. In piping, a gasket is sealing material placed between connecting flanges or trap & pipe junction to create a static seal, which will maintain the leakage proof sealing in all operating conditions. To avoid the leakage and damage to property, it needs to be rectified.
