Describe Issues
Gasket are used for covering the area between the window panel and frame to seal against wind, rain and other adverse weather conditions that may affect the function of the window. If not rectified, can create a path for unwanted water seepage. This will cause moisture related problems in the unit & also add extra cost and time factor for repairs.

Describe Issues
As seen by infrared image flow of moisture noted from ceiling mid span towards wall. This moisture has originated from entrapped moisture under hollow roof tile surface which has intruded through the gap at tile joints in the adjacent roof area. If not rectified, hollowness can further lead to cracked tiles. Can lead to further problems in other associated or attached areas like damp/ seepage issues, will increase maintenance cost and create hassles for residents.

Step 1 – Tiles joint cutting with a suitable tool.
Step 2 – Preparation & pouring of high viscosity cement grout & adequate vibration to be made on floor tile with a rubber hammer during pouring.
Step 3 – Tile joint to be sealed with pigmented flexible tile grout.

6 amps Switch socket provided for Geyser.
Describe Issues
As per current rating, Geyser requires current greater than 6 amps. Providing 6 amps switch socket instead of 16 amps will lead to damaged switch socket board and frequent tripping off MCB due to overheating. Hence, it can create electrical & safety hazard if not rectified on time.

We recommend replacement of 6 amp with 16 amps switch socket board for geyser.

Describe Issues
Inadequate packing along WC and soil pipe junction can lead to leakage from the joint. If the leak is not rectified at the right time can lead to moisture intrusion and damage the associated/ attached areas. It will create a hassle for the residents in future by adding cost for repair of the leak and associated damage at the area.

We recommend, re-installation of WC with manufacturer specified gasket packing at soil pipe junction.

Splashed water entering through the gaps can infiltrate through bare masonry wall surfaces around provision for WC outlet and cistern inlet pipe. This can lead to spreading of moisture to the attached/ associated area which can lead to damage in future.

In case of overloading in AC, starter will trip and hence will break the circuit whereas providing switch will lead to burning of AC motor. If not rectified at the right it can lead to electrical safety hazard in future, and also add an extra cost of repair or replacement.

Significant crack with hollowness at plaster surface noted on external masonry sill.
Describe Issues
Due to this crack on external sill, rainwater and moisture will enter masonry wall surface thereby affecting adjacent/ in-house wall surface and will weaken the integrity of associated elements. Additionally, if Crack not treated at right time, can increase in depth and lead to further deterioration at the affected area. Hence will hassle the residents by adding an extra cost and time factor due to its rectification or repair process.

Step 1 – Cracks with hollow plaster surface and loose material to be scrapped off till hard strata.
Step 2 – Re-plastering to be done with repair mortar.
Step 3 – After adequate curing of plastered surface, exterior grade paint finish to be provided as per paint manufacturer specifications.
